SupportHER & HIM is a welcoming, male-led support group based at House of Hope, created for men impacted by breast cancer, whether personally diagnosed or supporting a partner, family member, or loved one.

Led by Paul Steele, who was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, the group offers a safe, understanding space where men can speak openly, share experiences, and feel less alone in what can often be an overlooked journey. 

It recognises that breast cancer is not just a women’s issue, and that men, both patients and supporters need support, connection, and a voice too.

Through relaxed “cuppa and chat” sessions, SupportHER & HIM encourages honest conversation, peer support, and mutual strength. 

There’s no pressure, just a friendly environment to listen, talk, and connect with others who understand.
