At the House of Hope, we know that wellbeing support can make a meaningful difference to people navigating the physical and emotional impact of breast cancer. We also know that for some, the financial pressures of treatment, reduced work or caring responsibilities can make even small costs feel out of reach.

The Hope Fund has been created to ensure that nobody in our community ever has to miss out on support because they cannot afford it. The fund will help cover the cost of our 1:1 therapeutic treatments for those who need a little extra help.

For our community of supporters, friends and fundraisers, the Hope Fund also offers a new way to give back: by paying it forward. Donations to the fund directly cover the cost of treatments for someone impacted by breast cancer, a simple act of care that can make a world of difference.

So if you're running an event, taking on a fundraising challenge or donating, the Hope Fund allows you to make a direct impact on someone’s wellbeing journey.

With your support, we can make sure that support at the House of Hope remains accessible, dignified and filled with compassion just as it was always intended.

The Hope Fund is off to a strong start, as, on the first of January this year, our Centre Manager, Hazel and her friend Morag braved the freezing waters of the Forth to take part in the Loony Dook! Hazel and Morag took the plunge to raise money for The Hope Fund and brought in an amazing £630 in sponsorship – that’s 43 massages or treatments gifted to people impacted by breast cancer, and we’re so grateful to them both for starting the fund off in style!

If you want to raise money for The Hope Fund, you can get in touch or select it on our fundraising pages.
