We recently hosted our Strength in Style Charity Lunch, bringing a full room together for an afternoon that celebrated community, connection and support for the House of Hope.
Held at The Salisbury Arms, the event welcomed supporters, service users, partners and friends of the House for an afternoon of fashion, food and fundraising!
At the heart of the day was our fashion show, featuring our incredible House of Hope models. Each of them stepped onto the runway with confidence and courage, wearing outfits kindly provided by Scamp & Dude and Tiger Lily Boutique. It was a powerful moment that captured exactly what the House is all about – people coming together, supporting one another and showing what’s possible.
Alongside the show, guests enjoyed stalls, entertainment from Champagne Static and our saxophonist Gordon Bowie, and the chance to connect with others who believe in the work we do. From the energy in the room to the conversations taking place throughout the day, it was clear how much this community means to so many.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make it such a special day. Thank you to our stall holders, entertainers, and the teams behind the scenes on hair and make-up. Thank you to The Salisbury Arms for hosting us so warmly.
A special thank you to our sponsors Aderans A&A Studio and Estée Lauder, and to Scamp & Dude and Tiger Lily Boutique for supporting the fashion show.
And to our House of Hope models – your courage on the runway brought the whole room together!

All of that support led to something incredible… We raised over £8,000 to keep the House open and continue offering support, wellbeing services and community to those impacted by breast cancer.
