Trustee

Lesley is an experienced charity leader with over 20 years’ experience in the third sector, including 11 years in senior management roles. Most recently as CEO of Seescape (Fife Society for the Blind), and previously Director of Scotland for Hourglass (formerly Action on Elder Abuse), she brings wide-ranging expertise in strategic and operational charity management, governance, fundraising, financial management, people management and service delivery.

Alongside overseeing clinical and health-based services at Seescape, Lesley also led a range of wellbeing initiatives — including counselling, befriending, and therapeutic programmes — giving her direct insight into how wellbeing support can complement clinical provision to deliver truly person-centred, holistic care.

Through personal experience of breast cancer within her family, she has seen first-hand the vital role that compassionate wellbeing and community support services play for people navigating a breast cancer journey.

Lesley is delighted to join the Board of The House of Hope at such a pivotal time, and Iooks forward to supporting the charity to further develop their compassionate, holistic and person-centred work for people living with breast cancer.
