The Start

I put my fundraiser up on Tuesday 6th January with a target of £500.  Within 24 hours that target had been and gone, I pretty much spent the day crying 🤣 I was so overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity and encouragement! It also really started to sink in the why, what and who I was doing this all for. 

I have done a couple of runs and after my third I thought my only goal for the day was to get a 5k in without stopping.  I managed to do it so was delighted I managed to tick that goal off!! (Probably helped I done the run along main roads and I was too embarrassed to stop incase anyone I knew seen me🤣).  I just wanted to get a feel for running and learn to enjoy it and decide what playlist was my best vibe.  I can honestly say and I legit never thought I would say it but I’ve enjoyed every run! However I’m very aware that won’t always be the case I will at some point cry on a run!  (If you see me do this, just mind your own) 🤣

Today Sunday 18th I done a group run with a lovely bunch of girls at sweat with Steph for another 5k.  The £1500 target is also now been and gone.  I will be increasing it again and I hope to raise much much more!! 

I will keep posting and I’ll maybe do a wee blog on here every now and again.  

To everyone who’s donated, shared and given me words of encouragement THANK YOU! I know I have some running partners lined up during my training!!
