When I was 20 years old, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Going through it at a young age was extremely tough and isolating. In 2007, I started to volunteer with various breast cancer charities so I could help other young ladies going through the same thing. In 2016, I was diagnosed with another primary breast cancer and had to go through treatment again. Over the years, I have been involved in different fundraising and volunteering events for breast cancer charities, which led me to pursue training to become a counsellor, which I am now qualified for. My biggest passion in life is to help others who have been or are going through a breast cancer diagnosis. Especially younger ladies. I would have loved to have the House of Hope around when I was diagnosed. I’m very excited to be working with them and helping those in need of support. I am married, and we have a daughter. I love to spend time with friends and family.
