Last Tuesday, I completed my final run for the House of Hope! I have been truly overwhelmed by the generosity of my family, friends, and everyone who supported my fundraiser. Every donation has meant so much, and I am incredibly grateful to each and every one of you.
A big thank you also to everyone who joined me on my walks / runs, especially those who have faced and are facing their own diagnosis. Sharing those miles, conversations, and cups of coffee made this experience even more meaningful.

June 1st
Today was the first day of 1km Your Way! I was joined by my 4-year-old, who was much faster than me (probably because she was promised a trip to the playground at the end of our run!). She was so excited to hear why we were doing it and is already looking forward to joining me again another time. It was such a lovely way to start this challenge, and I'm grateful to be raising money for such an important cause.
While 1km is not much to most people, my body is still recovering from months of treatment. For me, this felt like a significant milestone, and I'm hopeful it's the start of rebuilding my strength and fitness again.
I also want to use this challenge to raise awareness about checking your breasts. A simple way to remember is to do it on the first day of every month. It only takes a few minutes, and it could make all the difference.
